Health Culture is a comprehensive workout and meal planning app that helps you stay on track with your health and fitness goals. With its rich content, including weekly meal plans with video recipes and shopping lists, recipes, and exercises, Health Culture offers everything you need to plan, edit, and manage your workouts and meals.
We worked on the project from the beginning to create the architecture, the MVP of the iOS mobile application (SWIFT), and the whole creation and maintenance of the backend (Ruby on Rails), PostgreSQL database, and REST API for communication with the application. Additionally, we were involved in the creation by entering a massive database of foods and items, as well as exercise photographs.
The app features key functionalities such as the ability to create and edit meal plans, workouts, and recipes, a calendar view to plan your workouts and meals, comprehensive nutritional information, an active workout mode with exercise and rest timers, and tools to create custom workouts with options for warm-up, single exercises, Super-sets, HIIT, and cool-down. The app also includes a shopping list feature, body logs, and weight log with a graphic representation.
